Abbotsford Biscuits is a social
enterprise which employs and trains individuals who have been excluded from
mainstream employment and training opportunities.
The Easter product selection
features beautifully presented Easter Spiced Egg Biscuits, Chocolate Easter
Eggs and a Simnel Cake alongside Abbotsford Biscuits' year round biscuits
range. All products are hand made with only the finest ingredients. You can
also purchase from the gift hamper range, which includes a gift card informing
the recipient of the work Abbotsford Biscuits does for the community.
The Easter Spiced Egg Biscuits
feature a perfect blend of cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, cardamom, ginger and
coriander. Hand crafted into seasonal novelty shapes the biscuits are decorated
with pastel-coloured Royal Icing which is hand piped onto each individual
biscuit by our resident Bakery Assistants.
Returning for the Easter season only
is the famous Simnel (Easter) Cake with its fascinating cultural heritage and
roots that stretch back to the Roman times. The Easter Cake is a rich taste
delight made using butter, eggs and fragrant spices and is generously studded
with dried fruits and pungent peel. The cake is enhanced with our own handmade
almond marzipan which is free of artificial flavours and additives. The overall
flavour is of a rich citrus and almond fruit cake.
